Due to an inlux of spiders, he`s currently full at the mo.

so ive half moved my stuff out of my flat, and brought most of it to my parents place. only got big furniture left which im hoping a friend will take off my hands..

ive come back to my parents to find that my mum and dad have complelty fallen out, my dad has been sleeping in the spare (my room) so theres no where for me to kip. and im basically trying to move a 2 bed flat worth of stuff in to a double bedroom which is already used as a spare wardrobe.

my head is so far up my own arse I cant believe my situation. this is beyond a joke. im now in the middle of my mum and dads failing relationship ontop of all the other crap im going thro.

im currently searching for a house share or room to rent. but my credit is knackered and references are knackered. im at a complete loss

Sorry to hear this mate. I was stuck in the middle of my parents rows for a while quite a few years ago. It was horrible. Fortunately for me they managed to sort things out.

Just came home early from work, this afternoon the entire workforce was summoned and basically told the company is laying off loads of people in the next week or so. We've been allowed home early to get to grips with the news.

No idea whether I am going to be kept or told to go, to be honest it hasn't bothered me much at all because I have other things in the offing as I've said (and failing that I have a nice home and money saved away which can get me by for a while). Most people though are absolutely pig sick, everyone knew this was coming but didn't expect it to happen just yet.

What a lovely way to welcome people back for new year.

No idea whether I am going to be kept or told to go, to be honest it hasn't bothered me much at all because I have other things in the offing as I've said (and failing that I have a nice home and money saved away which can get me by for a while). Most people though are absolutely pig sick, everyone knew this was coming but didn't expect it to happen just yet.

the annoying thing with these types of things is decisions get made at head of level and I always feel for the poor low level managers who have to tell everyone

the fact that this stuff is always thought about so long in advance and they wait and tell people at the worst times (unless its sudden like which I know is sometimes the case)

New year and actually I appear to have turned things round. I'm in a much better place than I was 6-7 weeks ago. I have lost half the weight I gained so that is make me feel more myself and back permitting I go back to the gym on Friday. I am still on Facebook but giving it far less credence in my life. I would like to thank everyone on here for their kind words as I really do believe it helped. If I can turn it round anyone can and if anyone needs to chat either publicly or privately I'm always on here.

Not slept much at all the last few nights. On my way into work now but I seriously contemplated not even bothering, just never going back because I'll probably be getting a redundancy letter in the next week or so anyway. Staying in bed and getting my sleep back was such a tantalising option.

Nah mate I've been here less than the statutory 2 years so I'd get nothing.

Everyone will be finding out their fates tomorrow, some are in bits with worry. My attitude is like "yeah whatever". Literally only come in so if I am let go I can at least get a reference would be helpful in landing this new job I'm going for. Right now though I'm sat in my seat not doing a tap and I won't be until I have clarity.
