Coleman will never play for another club.

This will be when we find out how much the support from the club when he was injured really matters. He could be honourable and move on,or do a Hibbert and go fishing while pocketing his salary. Can't see it being easy to sell Coleman. Big wages for a 32 year old right back and he'll likely want at least 3 years because he'll still have 2 left with us.
Works both ways. The club looked after an asset, it was in their interests to do so. It was hardly an act of charity. This will be when we find out how much the support from the club when he was injured really matters. He could be honourable and move on,or do a Hibbert and go fishing while pocketing his salary.
True but if someone offered him a little less money and maybe only two years you would hope he would rather play somewhere than sit tight and cash his cheque.Time will tell.Works both ways. The club looked after an asset, it was in their interests to do so. It was hardly an act of charity.
Like @Papa Shango mentioned, I can't see Seamus playing for a club any time soon, if at all.If we could shift Coleman for 8-9m sign this lad for 14m and bring back Kenny to compete next season that would be good business imo. Massive upgrade on both first choice and whoever is on the bench for RB
I know what I'd do.This will be when we find out how much the support from the club when he was injured really matters. He could be honourable and move on,or do a Hibbert and go fishing while pocketing his salary.

Agree. Unless jjk has become dead goodSo would you move to another job for less money and a shorter contract ? Especially when you cost buttons and have been one of the best and most loyal fullbacks in the premier league era. Just don't think he's as poor as some make out, would be excellent back up to Sidbie for a couple of years yet.
It would depend on what he wants from whatever time he has left as a player. On the bench as a back up?,or starting weekly?.So would you move to another job for less money and a shorter contract ? Carp or Tench?I know what I'd do.

Hopefully he continues in the form he is in and we buy him and the end of the season. If Kenny continues in the form he is in he will be ideal competition. Given his service and how little he cost I would be be tempted to let Coleman go for a reduced fee. He could still do a job for a team below where we want to be.
