Genuine question, has it worked out well? I've not seen any updates aside from that goal earlier in the season.

It's going very well, check out the Everton players on loan thread. The Schalke fans love him and want him to sign permanently. I think we can put to bed the "he's a championship player" rubbish. Sidibe, doing well so far, I don't want him in JJK way next season though, JJK is the future.

He wont move because he has gone on record as saying he would never play for another English club as he owes everything to Everton.

I mean he could go abroad but he could also just retire. I still think he is perfectly serviceable as a top flight squad player.
Yes I can't see him moving myself. Obviously football changes like the wind there's been countless players who have said the ole chestnut one club line, but if anyone would stick to it I'd say coleman would.

It depends what he can offer I guess. Wouldn't like to see him dramatically regress.

Looks another who wrestles with rather than controls the ball reminds me of that dreadful scottish fullback Alan Hutton so not the solution to the right back dilemma and very concerning if Brands/Silva think otherwise

No reason to sell Coleman.

He is perfectly fine as a covering / challenging RB. Can't be picky at having a decent quality back up option. Same with Baines really, will he have hte legs/be good enough for 38 games? No probably not, will he be able to cover injuries fine? Sure thing.

Kenny / Coleman / Sidibe

We cant have 3 right backs...

3 men enter two men leave...

We simply dont know where we stand regarding Kenny though.

I'd rather have Coleman as foreseeable back up, if Kenny comes back and has stepped his game up then the question can be arsed.

Except Coleman isn't a decent baxk up anymore, everytime he plays he stinks the gaff out. Rather we have a youth player come through or just buy a RB

Personally wouldn't buy him but it just shows you how poor Coleman has been, Simple crosses or forward passes is all we need.
Would stick with JJK depending on how he develops and sign another one, Would release Coleman, He's done in the Premiership tbh.
