He doesn't particularly seem to want to join us and certainly seems to be keeping his options open.

But, I feel that he may realise the club sees JonJoe Kenny as the future first choice right back.

I have no problem with what he said about Liverpool; he doesn't have to like the City or the people who live here, as far as I'm concerned. However, I do think it a bit odd that he finds the need to make his thoughts known. This has all the signs of one of 'thechicoazul' tweets.

The guy was living in Monaco in the South of France so of course he'll say he is disappointed by the city of Liverpool. Its nothing to him except where he works so has no emotional or family ties to city ;-) His living in Cheshire and stated almost all players don't live in city centre which is normal ;-) Majority of football and rugby players at PSG, Stade Francais and Racing Metro 92 live outside Paris which is a far superior city looks wise to Liverpool

Liverpool has improved a lot though hasn’t it?. While at University in the city I was living just south of it (Sefton Park road) in the late 90s, and it has some on leaps and bounds since then (tbh I loved it then) The crime was a genuine issue though and being so close to Toxteth I was probably near the worst of it. Kids randomly throwing eggs at people walking on the other side of the street. Witnessed robbery up close as the VCR in our flat got nicked. Couple of flatmates owned machetes, they came prepared.

As I said previously the people are the friendliest around. On one occasion I ran out of money and a cop had seen me walking while struggling to carry two heavy bags and gave me a lift to the docks (remember him saying he’d make up something as he had to record it).

Mid 2000's until they started building Liverpool 1, places like ropewalks consisted of empty derelict buildings. And this was the city centre.

I went to Paris about 10 years ago wasn’t impressed to be honest. The Eiffel tower was like a jarg Blackpool tower with beware of pick pocket signs all the way up. I could see why this happens if am honest not all it’s cracked up to be. Paris syndrome (French: syndrome de Paris, Japanese: パリ症候群, pari shōkōgun) is a condition exhibited by some individuals when visiting or going on vacation to Paris, as a result of extreme shock at discovering that Paris is different from their expectations.

Haha yep apparently they have a special room with smelling salts at the Japanese embassy, where all the old dears who have suffered nervous collapse after being insulted by a waiter can recover themselves before being medevac’ed out.
