I have never been to the Hairdressers for 15 years plus I have a good head of hair - my good lady does me a razor cut as she always reconed they made a mess of my hair where ever I used to go - I purchased an excellent expensive hair razor set from a London firm on eBay an age ago & purchased loads of their special blades - - they have now stopped trading - best investment I ever made TBH - my Lad always tips his hairdresser .....he has longer hair - looks like a Viking TBH .....

There are definite do and don'ts, good buddy of wearing a bold striped shirt. A bold stripe shirt calls for solid colored or discreetly patterned suits and ties. Yes, always tip the stylist 15%. Listen, John, I've gotta go, T. Boone Pickens just walked in. Just joking. No, don't tip the owner of the salon.

I used to tip the owner that cut my hair as the place was dirt cheap, the couple were in there working every time I popped in at various times of the day and they were Albanian immigrants that had won the visa lottery so weren't exactly established and minted.

The new woman I use comes to the office and does mine so I don't even have to make any effort, charges me £16 for hair and a beard trim and I give her £20
