Dunk and Duffy are very physical centre backs, Oatemendi is more than a just physical centre back hence his medal tally, Biscan was a midfielder deployed as centre back! My point is compare like for like.

They’re big and strong but they haven’t got pace. DCL would’ve tested them far more. He’s pretty good at winning fouls as well.

Very much disagree.

Dominic would have created more chances for others yesterday had he started from the beginning, he would have been far more of a test than the powder puff that was thrown at Dunk and Duffy! They absolutely minced Richarldson for fun kicked him off the park, a very English very old tactic that worked.

Fouling does not imply being bullied, the opposite in fact. Fouls and free kicks deep in their half would have nullified them until the likes of Murray came on then bread and butter for our Centre backs. Couple of scrappy tangles a lose ball for Richarlson or Bernard to pick up...

Just forcing a mistake just like it did for Brighton just as it did for Liverpool is enough.
