Meaning e already have one crap striker and we don’t need two
What we have are two crap strikers, being Tosun and Niasse, and a third who is young and not yet ready to lead our line as a regular starter. Maybe he never will be.

You repeatedly say you don't hate DCL, but your posts say otherwise. I don't ever see you going on to the Niasse and Tosun threads but you ridicule DCL at every opportunity.

He's improved in every regard since his debut and puts in 100%. He's came on massively in both his physicality and technical ability and if he continues then he's developing into a very good centre forward in my opinion.

The main worry in my eyes has been his lack of composure in front of goal but from what we've seen of him this season that seems to be another area that he's improved - proven in how calmly he slotted the second against Bournemouth.

Great option to have for away games and a great impact sub to trouble defenders late on. Utterly baffled as to how there's a decent few of our fans that like to get on his back and write him off instead of getting behind a young lad that's obviously working very hard to iron out the issues of his game and is proving to be a handy asset for us.
What has also concerned me this season is his apparent need to take multiple touches to get the ball under control. It's possible this could just be him getting used to his body. As you and others have said, his physicality has changed substantially since last season and the extra muscle may have affected his balance and touch.

A few more goals and good finishes like the weekend will certainly help with his confidence too. There's no doubt we need to see a marked improvement over the next 18 months if he is to have a long term career here, but he's certainly worth his place in the squad, unlike our two other specialist strikers.

rashford is boss though to be fair, brings a lot more to the team than goals
I think of the 2 Rashford is the more advanced and I think also has the higher ceiling. But if you believe some of the stuff written in here then one is almost world class and the other league 1 standard. That's nonsense.

One swallow doesn't make a summer. Regardless of his goal against Bournemouth, he still needs to work on his overall game. It just isn't good enough at all. Better hold up play and more intelligent runs off the ball is a great start. Then he needs to add more consistency if he truly wants to become his 'potential'. We can't afford to wait around until hes 25 to see if he's good enough, we still need a striker in pronto.

I think Dom has potential and good attributes but he needs to improve his finishing, it looks like he has been working on it mind you. The issue is we have had to rely on him way too much way too soon, he can't start every week but can be in rotation with others. It's not his fault as a developing third or fourth choice in a squad he's worthy of his place. Our issue is our so called more experienced strikers aren't up to standard so he has been thrust into the first team too often when he isn't ready. He's best as a bench option or starting the odd game right now we need one or two first choice strikers.

Why can’t we sign a striker and keep him around till he’s 25
