It's not a striker we need, it's more of an attacking midfielder/front 3 ala Mane for example to supply goals.

We've had seasons of our midfielders getting 3 goals maximum a season apart Siggy chipping in.

You've got Richy and DCL as strikers. I think...either hopefully Simms is seen as a ready to be that bit part striker. Or for some miraculous reason they feel like King is worth enough to keep reasonably cheap.

I don't think it's a main priority either, so someone willing to chip in works for me.

I don’t think he’s been good enough last 2/3 months but to be honest I’ve seen so many strikers this season put in similar performances and spells, hasn’t Son scored something daft like 1 in 15 and Vardy similar. I hope he develops further and want him to do it with us like he has been doing, want him to start bullying defences again
 
He's better than last season. Started the season scoring goals for fun and they were coming off all parts of his body. That happens. Hasn't had the same luck at the tail end of the season. Still offers something to the team. Hopefully next season his finishing will improve. Lucky to have him either to score goals or to sell so that we can progress. Start of the season - most would have taken being in this position.

Think we've lacked creativity in a lot of these games. Either he's been out, James has been out. Once that happens, there's very little elsewhere that creates chances. There were large chunks of the season we barely crossed the ball into the box as Digne was out.

He could've had a bagful against Palace too.

The hope is, once things are settled with the team, with some extra pace, he'll be more reliable.

He's a player who thrives off crosses into the box, but since we've brought Richarlison and James narrow they've dried up and unsurprisingly his goals have to.
 
Carlo told him to stay in the box more and it’s showing, we are creating less chances and putting less crosses in and he’s not as involved.
I feel his work rate has dropped a bit but I wouldn’t be surprised he’s if he’s been playing with knocks due to no alternatives.
 
I know people love lashing out 3 goals in 16 games haha! But have you actually seen the way we've played since December? It's not been good.
