Best thing about you joey is your hypocrisy mate. You moan constantly about me not rating DCL which is fair enough but then slate Richy every single chance you get as some sort of weird defence for DCL being bang average.

If any strikers have no supply the goals will dry up....our midfield is not the one were DCL bagged 15 goals
If a striker misses a chance it happens but the supply atm is so poor - injuries etc etc
your whinging about DCL on here is timesome with a few others' ala the ones who stated pre-season he was no more than a championship player...then disappeared from this thread when all the goals went in early on ....
I just can't see how anyone can criticise our leading goalscorer with the current midfield behind him ...

Love that you have highlighted the top line in bold and your still wrong, he actually has 6 league goals.
My problem is joey my little mucker Richy has been arguably our best player for the past 2 seasons and albeit he's had a bang average season this one he overall has been fantastic.
On the other hand DCL has been shocking for about 4 years aside from 2 spells lasting about 2 months each.
I can criticise him because this is the internet Joseph and this forum is specifically meant for fans to give opinions and my opinion is he's a bang average striker, don't get so wound up over it my matey.

Both as bad as each other.
One lad is on 19 goals for the season (plus 4 more at international level) the other works his backside off every week.
Both are still young, both are going to keep improving. And yes their missing of good chances annoys me but every striker has these moments. All players have strengths and weaknesses, we could get a "finisher" to finish the rare chances we do create but then we may lose DCL's aerial threat and Richarlison's work rate.
And not that it matters but both of them are fine role models too who do loads for the club and its fans.
Both of them are far, far, far away from being the problem. Create more chances, get a midfield who moves for the ball and plays passes into onrushing players rather than stilting all our play and those misses don't become so important as another chance will come along.

Not gonna get into the DCL debate with someone else mate I end up clogging the thread up, but i disagree. I think a striker who scores 80% of his goals in 25% of the season is a big problem.
Yes it nice saying he's got 14 league goals which is a decent return, but when 11/12 of them are scored in the first 10 games your left going 75% of the season with a striker who's going to average about 5 goals ( not just this season he did the same last season )
Let's just see what happens I suppose, he's made improvements but until he does it consistently he's not good enough for me, I don't think that's unfair.

He is made improvements that are totally inline with his age. Made improvements season on season. If he was boss, then crap, then boss and then crap again then that would be a concern but he is getting better every single season. He has also played for a raft of different managers playing a variety of systems with a poor midfield behind him for most of that time.
Yeah he has dropped off this season after a great start but he played practically every minute of every game until he got injured.
He is boss in the air, good turn of pace, very rarely gives the ball away and has enough snide in him to be an annoyance. His finishing is not great but he has almost everything else.
Either way arguing about who is the worst between DCL and Richarlison is weird, they are far down the list of issue we have! Personally (and it's just an opinion) I think you are both wrong! Build a better team around them and they will be flying.
If he gets reliable service he scores. I have watched Kane more closely this season and would suggest he misses more opportunities than DCL, but he seems to get far more. Our football and service has for most of the season been dire. If we don't buck up we will not keep him. Would not swap him with anyone because his best is yet to come.

Agree mate poor lads been stood watching Iwobi, Holgate and Bernard try and beat the first man like under 8’s on a Sunday morning.
I think the injuries haven’t helped in a few ways, there was a spell for what felt ages where either of Richarlison or DCL got injured we genuinely had no one left and their play showed it. Couldn’t be going full throttle, had to just keep them available and rely on one or two moments a game, which is why we didn’t press as much. Doesn’t excuse some of the performances but had a massive impact.
Hope he bosses it for years to come tbh

Spot on , he is a nice lad , too nice in fact but I think Big Dunc has told him to leave his charm and smile in the dressing room , defenders do not like playing against him that's for sure .
