This is just confirmation bias isn't it, it sounds like a preconception you've had of him from previous seasons and now after a bit of a barren spell he's suddenly not very good. Suspect it's similar for a lot of other people too.

It's not quite true though. West Ham in the cup where the ball comes over the top, he takes it down brilliantly and finishes. United in the last minute he shows great composure to take the ball down and slide it past De Gea.

I mean the United one is is great example in MY favour. He has no time to think, he reacts to the ball and finishes good.
I also did say "majority" as well, meaning obviously he can do it on occasion but more often than not he messes up.
We have backed ourselves into a corner over Dom, we have bigged him up for last season an a half, dumped an Italian international because Dom was having one of his little purple patches (barren run again follows like last year ) & we have left ourselves with a 1st choice who ultimately isn't good enough to be the 1st choice. I would put him in the same category as Son of Spurs

Stop posting utter wham we have a 40 million striker on 6 goals .... I can't criticise him because he works as hard as DCL & our midfield is pants, since our great start......
No engine room in midfield no decent crosses = no goals for anyone in our side..... we have had a bad run to blame our leading scorer is just plain stupid imo....

It has. We have stopped creating chances for him.
The less chances he gets makes the ones he does get all that more important and unfortunately he’s fluffed a few of them.

Hopefully he finds some form this weekend against Villa.

If we want to achieve our objectives, we must go at them. We’re practically at full strength.

Haven’t read all the posts. I like DCL but it’s a guarantee that if he goes to Man U he’ll turn into Ruud Van Nistlerooy or Andy Cole

I mean, probably? He doesn't create for himself and we don't create much for him. The easier"answer" would be to get in players to create more but I don't think expansive is what Carlo wants.

But United definitely create more than us. Ruud is a good example tho, would Ruud have been good at Everton? Probably not because we, again, didn't create enough.

I don't see that happening. Utd seem quite similar to us in that they don't shower their forwards with service. If he went there, he'd be pretty much like he is now.
