I look at the movement Richarlison did for those goals against RS and Southampton and DCL just hasn't the same quality of movement / finishing.

Essentially we have two good young strikers who play to totally different strengths therefore whichever way Carlo decides to move im happy if either is moved on for huge money providing we give Carlo big big money to rebuild the squad.
So that's why Rhico has scored 6 prem goals in truth he has been missing more chances than DCL ......but our chances are few & far between we are so slow in our build up tippy tappy back& sidewards , but the two of them are not the main problem it's the midfield, defensively costing us vital points for the last long period on games ..,.
Spurs we played well gave them two goals etc etc.....Arsenal like watching paint dry we won ......
Not in the brand of football I want us to play ........
Carlo is the man who has to fix it ......it's his job .......

Our current set up is for DCL mate Richarlison is never going to score 15 goals a season from having Digne whipping crosses in all game whereas likewise DCL wont score 15 goals having a James type player but through delicious balls to run onto like for Richys goals against RS and Saints in which DCL would have struck both straight at the keeper.

For me it depends what system Carlo wants to go with next season and who we sign in the summer. Richarlison may well end up back out wide and DCL staying up top but for me both cant play up top together they are totally different types of forwards.

So what your saying is unless we go out and spend pyar doe getting scholes, Beckham, Giggs etc that ruud van had at United we shouldn't expect anything from DCL?
Kind of the opposite. Ruud, imo, was a fantatic striker but he relied HEAVILY on others getting the ball to him. DCL is the same. It's basically one of 2 things. Either we significantly start to create more for DCL to convert his chances with or we move on from him. It would be "easier" to do the first thing with better players brought in but that, again, relies on him converting those. And he's fluffed a lot of chances that he scored in the first 1/4 of the season.

I didn't think he would replicate what he did last year, he did in that first part of the season but he's back to not scoring and, frankly, doing less than he usually does. I don't see the DCL who is bullying defenders and working his socks off at the moment. I said it for years before last, he's good at a lot of things except scoring. Last year he added scoring which I didn't think he'd replicate. This year he scored again so that's that.

Yeah he wouldn’t have scored that, if he never had that unbelievable assist to help.

the guy scored about 400 goals and was a fantastic goalscorer. If you play that long you most likely have something like that. I didn't say he never scored outside the 6 yard box, I said he relied heavily on people getting him the ball. One goal, hell, even 10 like that doesn't discount the other 390.

Yeah i've said before that it's a shame we haven't seen enough of the DCL who ran the channels and gave defenders a torrid time for 90 minutes this season. We know he can do that, and we know that he can score. If he can manage to put them both together then he's looking at being a top class striker. It does feel sometimes this year that we're not really getting enough out of him, and if he doesn't score then his impact on the game is minimal. I don't know if that's him slacking off or it's just the tactics/instructions, but there have been numerous games this year where he's spent the whole game waiting round the box for service that never arrives, and you can't help thinking it would have been useful to have him buzzing round a bit more like he used to.

DCL isn’t fit to lace the fellas boots. They’re not the same.
