Richy hasn't worked that well this season and Simms has to be treated as another promising youngster who likely wont make it to first team level. Successful teams wouldn't rely on those two. I do agree that midfield needs to improve the goals return and energy levels.

Successful teams don't have 2 out and out strikers nowadays.

City won't be interested in him because generally speaking he doesn't suit their style if play. However if he ended up there he would score plenty of goals. Its just City don't currently play to his strengths so it won't happen. He would score goals in any team he plays United are most likely to try and buy him as his suits them better than it does any of the top teams.
His strengths currently are getting on the end of things in the box and scoring.

We create one or two chances like that a game for him. City would create about 10

They like to mess about with the ball too much for my liking creating perfect goals. He would still score 30 goals though. I just don't think they would be interested in him unless he became England's main man and that ain't happening whilst Kane is around.

They currently don’t play with a striker as Aguero is crocked and off, and Jesus isn’t a natural poacher.

they play certain ways for certain games.
Even when he plays though he drops off to get the ball, they all interchange between each other, and like you say Jesus is not really a striker he is more a forward type who can play anywhere in the front line. What i was trying to say was that unlike us City don't really play with an out and out striker type. It will be interesting in the summer with Sergio leaving and will they go for Haaland.

Okay let’s be factual- you would need to know the staff in order to know?

no?

again making no sense= nonsense

By your logic then it would be nonsense for me to tell you city aren't interested in Yannick bolasie?

It's common sense, city play a certain way, often without a striker, if they were to go and get a striker to replace aguero, their greatest ever striker, with the money they have available... They would almost certainly aim higher than DCL. they would go for proven goals.

Now you are talking serious nonsense, surely you know that

I thought this was a conversation about DCL.. Is it me or you that’s in the wrong place

in the squad???

Yeah. 2 out an out strikers in the squad.
United only have Cavani.
The RS Origi.
City will just have Jesus (he a full on striker?).
Chelsea have Grioud and Abraham (who is an academy player so wasn't brought in, and will no doubt leave in the summer).
Spurs basically have Kane.

Any one else (even your PSGs etc) all have attacking forwards/midfielders in a 3 who can fill in as a striker if needed.

Neymar and mbappe?

They're not CF/Strikers. They generally play on either side of a front 3. Icardi is the striker on the books. That's not to say they can't play there, but their main position it LWF or RWF

Which is the main point of this "we need a back up striker". We don't. We need attackers and goalscorers as we don't have any.

I wouldnt be suprised or blame him if he gets off. There were 4-5 times against villa where he made the run both arms pointing to where he wants it but the player behind him was either to greedy (richy) or to inept (the rest of them) to play the ball required.

I certainly wouldnt be happy about it if he did leave as it would show that regardless of management or ownership the club is stagnating but if i was him id be seeing who we bring in first.
