He knows exactly what he’s doing. He tries to get a rise out of our fans because we bite every single time. A better response would be if we all just pretended the cue ball headed goblin didn’t exist.
Its hard not too bite when your THAT annoying.

I posted this a couple of times on Twitter.

It was the final question in a long interview in Sunday’s l’équipe newspaper over here in France. I read it yesterday. Decent article.

Question was “do you imagine changing clubs? You’re under contract at Everton until 2025.... “

I really don’t know what there is to complain about.... he was just answering a journo’s question.

Based off you seeing him take one penalty. Kicking the ball at the goal outside the 6 yard box is the worst part of his game.

Yes, based on the one well taken penalty of his that I've seen.

He's our main striker and he has the confidence to take penalties. In my opinion, he should be stating his case to be our penalty taker next season. Also, just think if he becomes really good at it and ends up with a Leighton Baines type record; he'd have a lot more goals to his name, which would benefit the player and Everton, plus it would give certain members of our fanbase the opportunity to say things like "He's still crap! A lot of his goals are from penalties!" it's a win-win situation, everyone is happy.

But kicking a ball is the worst part of his game

He has done pretty much exactly what Lukaku did here. "Disrespecting" the club I remember was the phrase used by many.

Different approach to Ancelotti, who paid the club maximum "respect" by not telling anyone at the club anything about his ambitions until after he'd left.

I wonder if people appreciate the candour of a Lukaku more now they've had a taste of the polar opposite.

Carlo is a has been - DCL is just starting off.....

….I think he’s not chasing lost causes like he used to, but I also think that has a lot to do with Ancelotti telling him to be more selfish & stay central. It actually helps his game.

I do agree we need a back-up striker, especially one who is a decent finisher. Whilst I think top clubs will have DCL on their radar, he’ll never score the extent of goals a Harry Kane will. He’ll get his quota, though, and score the odd goal Kane couldn’t but he’s in the ‘hope he scores’ when he gets a chance rather than ‘expecting him to score’.

Terrific we have him.
I think you’ve summed him perfectly

Jesus Christ I’ve heard it all now.

£20m?!
I think it’s past your bedtime mate.

Just for reference, by saying “any more than £20m” you’re saying he’s potentially worth less than Rhian Brewster.

That’s Rhian Brewster with… *checks notes*… zero goals in 34 games while playing for a Premier League side.

Night night fella.
I was outlining the fickleness of Everton fans who just last season were shouting about him being a championship quality player and we should get rid of him. I think we could get major money for him now and if we can we should because he isn’t that good. I’m not saying he is worth 20m in todays market, because todays market is out of control and makes no sense. I’m a fan of his, I love how he is progressing but I think that he is limited and isn’t the player we need to lead the line full time. I will revise my 20m statement and say 30m would be good for him, but if he scores at the euros we might get 80m. Here’s hoping.
