Well a few things.

Wood is 30, DCL is 25. And as you say hes an upgrade. So he is going to be more, probably substantially more than Wood.

On some reports, the total fee for Richarlison is 70m. You had him valued at significantly lower than that. I think you're making the same mistake again here.

We can all argue about who is worth what. For me, Jesus would not have scored the goals DCL would have done in our team over recent years. The caveat for DCL is his fitness. If he hadnt had serious injury, I'd be wanting more than that. But given his injury, I can see why we would want 60m ish and I can also see why Newcastle would pay it.

He is very similar stylistically to Wood, younger, more rounded and better and would go there. There is a premium for that.

£60m is a no brainer to sell and build a proper team from both big sales.

It won’t happen though because Newcastle won’t offer it.

Theres also a case, given that Nunez has played outside a top 5 league, and Vlahovic has only done it in Serie A (and honestly has a similar record at Juventus to Kean) he is a better option as things stand.

Before his injury DCL had 13 and 16 goals in the previous 2 seasons. To me that carries as much weight as 7 & 17 in Serie A or 26 & 6 in Portugal.

Those lads have gone for 73m and 75m respectively. I can see why DCL might be an option for teams at 60m, IF you feel hes over his injuries.

Where has Richarlison been listed as going for £60mil or even £70mil?.

It seems to be £50mil - £1mil to Watford = £49mil.

I think Newcastle making a £60mil bid to take DCL is similar to the Wood deal. In their eyes puts them above us in the league (as it put them above Burnley).

DCL i really like but we need to rebuild the squad...have to bring in youth for Lampard to work with and improve.

That's a bargain for a player who leads the league stats for converting corners to goal kicks

How is it a no brainer to sell the only remaining goalscorer in the squad? May as well just accept relegation now than do that.

The lad Broja is just nowhere near good enough to fill the huge whole in our squad that would exist if we lost DCL on top of Richarlison. I don't get the hype with him.

I know it is speculated as 60m but it would be mad to sell him since Richy has gone. We need him. We aren't replacing either of them with players that are going to be better for us right now. Losing both puts us in prime position to be relegated as we are then relying on players that we don't know will cut it or not. We know if Dom stays injury free he will get us goals, he's proven that.
