Hope he's out for the season and we sell him for what we can get next summer.

That way at least this chronic 'kin club will be forced in January to do what it should have done in the summer: FIND A REPLACEMENT FOR RICHARLISON.
I said something similar but I was a bit more diplomatic @davek. His injury will surely kick us into action in January and not necessarily a back up to DCL but a replacement. Same for Gordon and Gray

There's a massive difference between wanting the club to sign a replacement or more competition, and actively hoping a player is injured for the rest of the season.

We need him fit as often as possible. But he is not going to be fit often if we need to rely on him as first choice. We owe it to the player to sign a top forward to take the pressure off him.
I';m not 'hoping he gets injured' - HE IS INJURED.

You can wish for another striker without wishing for him to have a season long injury though.

I’d like to believe that the point has already been made to our management that we need another striker even if Dom is fit for competition/rotation.
If the club hadn't already realised we need a goalscorer, then we have bigger problems than I originally thought.

The idea only a season ending injury will make them realise, is a very bizarre take.

The time for diplomacy is over. We're in massive trouble again and looking to that feller will get us relegated. There's still some, incredibly, who believe he'll provide us with goals.

...after he got injured.

*sigh*

You genuinely have the IQ of a tin of paint don't you?

No one said you hoped he got injured before he did.
