The striker is through 1 vs 1 with the keeper , there are elite strikers that 9 times out of 10 will score , there are good strikers that will score 8 times out of 10 and you keep going down the ladder, the average strikers will score 6 times out of 10, then there is Dominic Calvert Lewin who you would put your money on the goalkeeper to get the best out of him !
Calvert Lewin can't control a football, can't dribble, and can't shoot. He is excellent in the air but that is nowhere near enough at this level.
Actually we don't have a single player in our squad that when one on one with the keeper you are positive that he will score.

Someone earlier castigated the board for selling Richy I thought it was forced upon them for breaking the spending/financial rules. Anyhow his ambitions meant he would go anyway to a top club in the CL. He knew there is no hope of Everton achieving that in his remaining playing years.

Well, there was nobody saying "you need to sell Richarlison to stay within the rules". Newcastle signed Nick Pope for 10m. We could have sold Pickford for about 40m, and had many sellable assets to sell if necessary.

I really don't get the personal attacks on the lad. What someone does off the pitch is absolutely none of anyones business unless they are doing something illegal. If he wants to "wear skirts", who cares? If he identifies as a woman, who cares? It doesn't affect your life one iota. Live your own life and stop worrying about what someone else is doing that doesn't affect yours or anyone elses life one bit.

He's in the Bolasie / Schneiderlin category now of a player on a long contract with injury problems we cant shift for cash.

He is a mill-stone round our necks.

The good news is he did not get a chance to sign the 5 year 120k contract. We just have to cut our losses. He could actually be a good fit as a game changing option for a top side. The lighter workload would suite his fragility.

Sadly he is not the same, that Injury over a year ago has ruined him, i think he even plays with the Injury on his mind for me, as he is never more than a few games away from another injury, the thing is we will probably only go for someone to play instead of him when he is injured (Which is nearly all the time) instead of for someone to be our 1st choice, leaving him out to be "Fully fit" does nothing really other than miss more games

I think it was a Box pleat or Bubble skirt. Personally I prefer him in a nice Crinoline or a Tulip.

Calvert-Lewin has lost a lot of his athletic quality because of his injuries, and without that you really do have to question what you're left with.

January could be do or die for us, Maupay is not a player who can play upfront on his own and the penny must have surely dropped with the club that we cannot rely on Calvert-Lewin any longer.

A striker and a winger with end product are absolute musts.
