We've won 3 games in 20...if we had James for only say 8 of them games we may have stood a chance of say...scoring a goal/winning more games...or we could stick with our reliable midfielders like Gana et Al as that's worked out well

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is solely reliant on others as he cannot create chances himself and relies on great service to get his goals.

He's a very limited footballer and I dont think many Evertonians would describe him as a natural finisher either.

Thats nonsense atleast 4 times out of 10 he scores when he has the ball in the 5 yard box with loads of space and keeper out of dodge.

The DCL knockers are out smiling - but all the team are deflated headless chickens clueless under Frank - my worry is he is either not bothered or crocked .......his chasing down for the ball - gone his ball control - gone - his judging to jump for the ball - gone - his holding the ball up & laying it to a midfielder Gone -

The only excuse he has is the team in midfield are so slow & crap ......

I fear he his crocked.,......

He used to have a presence all over the front line - it's gone .....will he ever get match fit?????????

Players don’t cross when the striker shows no desire to keep up with play as a minimum, but ideally muscle their way ahead of a defender. He hasn’t done this for ages. Stopped running channels when Carlo said to stay central. Never restarted. Should maybe occasionally make the odd run, even just to drag a defender. But no.

Standing their static means we resort to hopeful Coleman floaty chips into the box which anyone paid £50k a week to head away will…..head away.

We don’t play to his strengths, but he has no idea what his strengths are ?

50k a week?. I do it for 50 pence.

Rapidly turning into an Andy Carroll.

Needs to get properly fit to be effective and he's nowhere near it.

Ancelotti seemed to get the best from his strengths, all downhill from there.

Typical Everton relying one out and out striker though. We did the same with Lukaku, but were VERY lucky on injuries.

Andy Carroll was an absolute beast in the air. Even when he was a crock and at the end of his career he could come in and dictate a match.

DCL just really isn't a good footballer. He had a spell where he scored goals off his back and whatnot. He just isn't good.
