First of all, we should never be in the position where we are expectant of a player who's been out with bad injuries over the past 15months or so, to be able to come in with immediate effect and be the difference maker, he should be allowed to get up to speed and his game time and confidence managed and built up correctly. However we have Maupay are our other "option"...so that unfortunately isn't an option.
Although he's offered little this season, and that is being kind...
The main issue is the supply line. We are horrible, there's absolutely no creativity in this side... Iwobi could hardly get a game under Carlo in a season we finished 10th, is now seen as our only creative option... It's madness to think that DCL can create something on his own, he's not that type of player, DCL was good under Carlo, because he was played to his strengths.
Digne is a huge miss for DCL, likewise Richarlison, James & Sigurdson.. This side has no supply for him.

Plenty of players are limited. His injuries definitely haven't helped but if you starve a striker of service and isolate him in the way we do, he's never going to look good.
