Think any references to his mental health or 'toughness' should be avoided tbh...
I don't think it matters whether the problem is physical or mental: he is simply unavailable far too often to justify persevering with. He cannot be relied on to be available for even the majority of a season anymore. You don't have to blame the player to be planning a future without him.

If we cannot get dcl fit for a run of games them i am afraid that we have zero chance of survival. Those players have the best doctors on the planet, surely they must be able to at least have some understanding of the root cause of the discomfort. He has been complaining of his harmstring throughout the season...if he doesn't play on Monday, it has to be gray in attack...pointless to use maupay.

He's injury prone but it also seems like it's getting psychological now; small niggles might worry him more than he should as he know how dark it was when he had the massive lay off. He needed replacing/strong competition in both the Summer and Jan and the fate of our season sadly rests on him.

He's not a pansy, he's not not cut out for the PL, he's obviously a young lad that's got some stuff going on involving his injury woes.

Don't be 1950's dad's, don't be faux macho idiots, we have a wonderful mental health thread on this site and comments in this thread really undo it.

I'm sure most of us said that eighteen months ago he can't be relied on as a first choice anymore, then we sold Richy too and still here we are I blame the owner and board.

We even sold Gordon. The club managed to weaken itself when forward areas were already our Achilles heel. Madness. Maupay is not a target striker he is better used off someone. Simms needs minute to grow into that role no way he gets thrown into a derby. Would we go with Gray around Doucs and Onana? Fire diagonals over to Gray to run on to and Onana and Doucs back him up. Good job we have a better manager.

The Achilles now as well, OH GAWD!

Follow blue just told me that Rooney played 5 World Cup games with a torn groin and didn't tell anyone...its about heart and with him he's got absolutely zero...he's been absolutely molly coddled to the point that slightest thing with him means time on the sideline.

Am absolutely sick of him.....if you told him he had to run up and down Paris catwalk for 90 minute he'd more than happy to oblige.
It's strangely comforting to me that you're still a complete and utter mouthbreathing cretin.
