The takes are various in volume, but it really is disappointing for both the lad and for the Club that he can't get his body right.

When up and about he is a good player, an important player and from what I can tell he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

He really is the difference between us playing expansive football or just grinding away.

He's injury prone but it also seems like it's getting psychological now; small niggles might worry him more than he should as he know how dark it was when he had the massive lay off. He needed replacing/strong competition in both the Summer and Jan and the fate of our season sadly rests on him.

He's not a pansy, he's not not cut out for the PL, he's obviously a young lad that's got some stuff going on involving his injury woes.

Don't be 1950's dad's, don't be faux macho idiots, we have a wonderful mental health thread on this site and comments in this thread really undo it.

This.

I don't get how we rallied round Aaron Lennon, and don't give Dom the same love.
Considering their comparable contributions to Everton.
We should stay classy, and not let our current frustrations with the board, our last 2 transfer windows and the obvious need for squad depth be put on to a young lad who has spent the bulk of his career here.

Stick him one of those cryogenic things until sunday then put him in front of a radiator. Should be thawed out by monday

“We will wake you at 19:15 on Monday night ok Dom?”

I remember Mirallas when he first arrived kept coming off with hamstring injuries that would take weeks to heal then he’d do it again. Moyes then said there was actually nothing on the scans after the first time and just threw him back out there in the next game after he’d apparently done his hamstring again the match before.

We even sold Gordon. The club managed to weaken itself when forward areas were already our Achilles heel. Madness. Maupay is not a target striker he is better used off someone. Simms needs minute to grow into that role no way he gets thrown into a derby. Would we go with Gray around Doucs and Onana? Fire diagonals over to Gray to run on to and Onana and Doucs back him up. Good job we have a better manager.

Gordon going did not weaken us. Bad attitude is so much worse than just bad performances.

I wish people would stop saying we weakened ourselves further this window. Gray, McNeil, Iwobi and soon Andros are all far better options because they don't sulk, and get on with it and graft to improve. The performance on Saturday from iwobi and McNeil proved that

No sign in training vids :( anyone hear anything? Individual treatment etc?
Saw Patterson individual training, looking closer than I thought so that's good, but would think they'd show Dom too were that the case
unless..... Dyche wants Klopp to prepare for Maupay! ?
