Maybe a lot to do with his mentality. Evert rugby player plays with some sort of injuries and get on with it. Different mindset wit Dom unfortunately. Been known for years that certain players inly play when they feel 100%. Hard for people to hear but its true
Its also known that most players feel deeply upset when injured, they love nothing more than playing games and there isnt a lot of them that welcome missing games for whatever reason.

Good to see, that our resident FBI profilers are out in force again.

You are very welcome to your opinion and I hope you agree I am welcome to question yours?
100%. I want to see him play as we all do. Just seen it before with players and think its similar . Hopefully Dyches staff can sort it but I dont see him playing to many games before end of season . If he sits out Monday and starts against Leeds id be happy with that

I suspect he would be willing to play Monday, but if hes got a knock, playing, training, might turn a 7 day injury into a 7 week injury.

Hes in a bad place atm, hes injured, then he gets "fit", then he starts getting match fitness, then hes injured again.

Its a damn shame, but as the bossman said above, its not his fault that his absence STILL hits us so hard.

Hes been injury prone for 2 years now, how is him missing games still a crisis on a weekly basis.

Mind-boggling.

Sometimes when you have a run of injuries, serious or not, it messes with your mind. You become afraid to push yourself because you feel you'll hurt yourself again when you do. We've all heard of players who have "setbacks" in their recovery; that likely stems from trying just that little bit too hard. Do that often enough and you can become gun-shy. Happened to me back in my high school days with my right knee -- to this day it still gives me the occasional reminder and I'm now 60.

Woeful recruitment. Unbelievably bad strategic decisions.

Thats where the fingers should be pointed right now - in the direction of the owner, board and DOF.

Anyone paying even a little attention since 2021 knew centre forward was no.1 priority.

Im no fan of Simms, not that ive ever really watched the lad, I just feel as tho if he was going to "make it here", he would have already.

But, we recalled him, im not suggesting hes the same type of player as Dom, but surely we have to at least give him a proper run.

Im not laying into him at all. Just voicing my own opinion on a private forum . Some players crack on and others only play when they feel they are 100%. Ex pros have spoken for years about players that were like that . Just the way the lad is in opinion. Believe what you like . Your opinion
Like I said, prior to last season he average 34 games a season, hardly the actions of what you are describing.
