The most bizarre thing I find about this situation is that he has been pinpointed as the sole remedy to our problems by some.
I also find it odd should we have gotten another forward, fans saying it should be a forward like him. What’s the point? Why not have different options, someone who can run in behind with pace, off the shoulder type player. Otherwise we just have no variety, everything is the same. That’s not what good sides have. Good sides have different options.
It’s irrelevant now anyway, abysmal recruitment over the years, a lack of replacements with no activity in January.

He is as unsaleable as he is playable. Nightmare for his wage payers. He's costing the club big time. To have Maupay and Simms as back up is gross incompetance.
