Thing is this lad could be anything a superstar that goal against spurs I think maybe it's a mind set maybe a few needles from the klopp crew might sort it
Mind set is definitely part of it.

I mean a Dyche Bleep Test
A 90 min footy match
He Passes one but not the other.

but I bet you they would all chose the footy match..

The conversations about this guy are taxing and so so boring. The club seriously need to move on. The fact that its more interesting for some fans to argue about his knickers, handbags and injuries rather than the actual club shows how pathetic it really is to support this club atm.

Clean slate will be best for both parties in the summer.
The club is to blame on so much focus being put on this lad, he's been thrown under the bus for their failures.
How long would this thread actually be if we had an adequate replacement in the team.

there's nothing wrong with talking about his injury record though, that is pretty natural when it comes to big players for your team.
it's since people have brought his private life into the thread...

After scoring the goal against Palace that guaranteed our club's survival Dom spoke openly of the mental health problems that he had suffered and he said that talking therapies had literally saved his life.

I know as blues we like to condemn our players and criticise them, sometimes even on match day, but in this case we must tread very carefully

Wonder if they'll ever actually investigate the FF pitches considering how many of our players get injured outside of games and not in them.

Quite incredible that it hasn’t occurred to ANYONE associated with the club in the last 15 years to look into this. We moved into Finch Farm in 2007 and pretty much since then we’ve had at least one long term injury per season. I thought Moyes would’ve been all over something like that.

I mean, take away the money, and I think I’d struggle given the same situation he’s been under.

He’s went from an aspiring Premier League regular to full England Internation and 20-goal striker under the best coach in the land.

Expectations increase, pressure increases and truthfully the club have let him down.

It doesn’t help doing controversial photoshoots etc which are clearly going to create a divide between fans who can’t understand that it’s his hobby, just like going Travelling is, or going the pub on a Sunday afternoon for us.

I don’t think he’s physically injured; and if it is mental, then I wish him all
The very best getting help
And into a better place.

.it's like we can't call chocolate eggs Easter eggs pr has gone mad imo
Everyone I know calls them "Easter eggs" and I've never heard anyone complain about this. You're not Neil from my work are you? If so, hello mate. If not, Neil was ranting a few weeks ago about no one being able to call Midget Gems "Midget" Gems, anymore, he was doing it while I was eating a bag of "Midget' Gems....I politely waited till the end of his rant to show him the packet. I'm good like that.

Whether you rate this lad as a decent striker or not, we are definitely better when he is in the team. Even if he doesn't score he causes mayhem up front with his amazing jump height and decent holding up of the ball and is a massive loss.

It is absolutely unforgivable that we didn't bring in another striker in January and i bet Dom even thinks that himself.

I agree it's a lot more appropriate talking about his injuries but it just goes on and on .

There should be no condemnation whatsoever of Calvert-Lewin. In fact, I don't think we should be speculating about his mental health - other than referencing what he has said himself. We should simply accept the situation as it is and move on. We cannot rely on him being available, so cut our losses, support the lad in recovering as much as possible, and focus on those who are in the trenches in this battle to survive.

Package? Loads of them years ago never said 'easter' on them either, including my favourite when i was a kid ( mid 80s I'd say this was).
