It's his hamstring - the issue he played with v Arsenal, which Dyche described as 'high risk, high reward'.

I was told around the time of the derby the rough timeline was 2-3 weeks.

He's not 'injured' so to speak, it's just tightness and soreness and they're not going to push it.
There will come a point where he has to play. This is the issue with relying on a player who hasn't been consistently fit for two seasons a simply insane decision.

With him against Arsenal we had 12 shots on goal; without him against Leeds and Villa we had 15 shots on goal.

He doesn't score often, so I really dont see how we're vastly disadvantaged without his presence.
Do you think the quality of the opposition could have been a contributing factor there? Just thinking that Leeds have conceded almost twice as many goals as arsenal this season...

The worrying thing again is that Dyche is becoming more vague with every interview about when he’ll be fit. It’s gone from “felt something in his hamstring so taken off as a precaution” to now missing three four games with the manager saying “he can’t mend bodies and not wanting to put a timescale on it”.

If it is his mental health then you can't really put a timescale on it.

Dyche has given no indication of a potential return date. Considering he wasn't ruled out of playing three games ago (but seemed "very unlikely"), I think we can safely assume a lot of BS is being spouted about him by the club and that he's well and truly cooked.

I harbor no resentment towards DCL if hes not fit due to lingering physical issues or even mental ones the club's current dire state isnt on him. It's weird some attacks on him are somehow intertwined with critiques on his masculinity and if he was less feminine for modeling he'd somehow be fit which is absurd. The criticism needs to be focused on what truly is at fault for our predicament which is astonishingly shoddy recruitment

i know by personal experience that scans don’t pick everything up but you’d think serious damage to a hamstring muscle whatever could be seen

Matters not mate, the Bro Scientists and the Mindhunters on here, have consigned him to the knackers yard, based on nothing more, than what "Terry in the pub told them " and that fact that DCL doesn`t buy his clothes, from George at Asda.
