My new poem for Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Oh Dom I'm glad you're back
Cos without you we are cack
I fear Dyche may get the sack
But with you he'll get some slack
Oh Dom please score a winner
So we can enjoy our dinner
With stress I'm getting thinner
"It's just a commercial" said Michael Winner
Blammo blammo Dom
You are the Lewin Bomb
I'd let you date my mum
And I'd be your new found son

ps I love you Dom, call me x

Could have at least composed a haiku, you uncultured swine!! 😂

Maybe not, but if your main hobby is modelling are you ever going to be able to focus singularly on fitness and durability when it comes to building yourself back up again.
What is the difference between spending some of his spare time modelling or playing golf which is a fairly common pursuit amongst footballers.
Either way I’m struggling to see a point to your objections beyond your own inherent prejudice.
I suspect my daughters would say your objections are a minor example of ‘toxic masculinity’ , but I would describe it as petty mindedness.

It's not a matter of what my ideal of masculinity is ( in my view it's an outmoded concept ). However I don't think the below would work quite as well if Dom was built like a tank, with bulging thighs and calves. And obviously building muscle is how you compensate for specific areas of weakness after injury.

And by the way, I like this picture a lot; to the extent that it is provocative it's good art, Dom just looks cool in it and it breaks down barriers. However, I just wonder whether his leanness is beneficial to his injury recovery.

Yes you are. Why wouldn’t you?
Depends on what your focus is, most players that stay late after training and put extra effort in every day over 5 years will generally have a better career than players that leave the moment training finishes. I am sure there are anomalies but in general greater focus and effort must result in more skill and technique.

How much bigger do you want him?

You know what the maddest thing about this is, is people making out they think DCL looks "cool" in this photo, I honestly couldn't care less what he gets up to in his spare time, no one should.

But you are allowed to call a spade a spade here and say he looks absolutely ridiculous in this picture, it's a grown man wearing what effectively 12 year old girls wear for school.

You can be not bothered by what he does in his private and still say this without coming across as a tool.

Just get him fit and replace the two donkeys upfront and I'll feel more comfortable about staying in this league.

Does he not stay late after training?

Call me old fashioned but men in mini skirts just seems wrong.
