I think it's the same as Richarlison was a couple of years ago - needed 1-2 consistent seasons to get a bigger move. Richarlison would have got one of the really big teams coming for him (not Spurs) if he'd scored 15-20 for 2 seasons in a row or had 15 G / 10 A and that's why I think he "only" got Spurs and we "only" got 5-10m more than we paid.

Really hope he does well.
It would be amazing if we stop blaming him for his injury.
Minimum 15m more than we paid with it likely being closer to 20 as we bought him for 35 and sold for 50 before add ons. Which for a player who hasn’t maintained the bigger numbers and wants to leave a relegation club is decent.

Arsenal are not looking to buy Dom
Their recruitment has been great of late and he's too much of a gamble coz of injuries
Also doesn't suit their style
Just not buying that link
Think it makes a lot of sense to be honest.

He'd be second choice behind Jesus. They've proven they can play without a striker and with a false nine in Trossard. Would offer them a Plan B. Potential international level footballer for a modest fee. Wouldn't have to give him mega wages because of his injury history. He will be on some sort of shortlist for a number of clubs of their calibre, if not Arsenal themselves.

They have Nketiah too
If he was fit and not injury prone I could accept the plan B argument but the thing is they would so rarely need that target man that it would be a strange move for both parties imo

Not playing again tonight ……I thought he was being wrapped in cotton wool for this one? Will he ever play for us again?

It’s hard to watch a game like last night, play reasonably well but Demari Gray struggle as he’s hopelessly outmatched as the lone forward without thinking what a difference a fit DCL would make to the team.

Even when he does get fit and starts training with the team it’ll take him games to get up to match fitness. Gutted

Would be a significant boost if / when he comes back - games are ticking down though.

It must be hard for the lad with all the injuries he's suffered.
