This is getting slightly silly now, I think. We shouldnt push him to play if hes not capable, and we shouldnt bash on him for it. But my god are we wasting a lot in wages because of these issues he are having. Not DCLs fault, I dont see him as one of these players that doesnt want to play, but it is still affecting the club. We dont have much money to spare, yet spank out 5m a year on a player we cant play most of the time. Idk how this works in England or the PL, but is there any sort of governmental compensation here? In Norway, if I get injured or sick, my place of work would pay my salary the first two weeks, then the government would take over so my lack of productivity while still getting paid doesnt impact the business itself too much. Is there anything similar in the PL? Im guessing Id know about it by now if such a thing exitsed, but it would be real dope if it did.
Either way, best wishes to Dom. Mental issues are sadly a lot harder to deal with than a hamstring injury.

The cost of that would be astronomical with the amounts paid in the PL
 
2 years left on his deal and you would think that if anyone came in with a £10mil offer at the moment, hes gone.
 
DCL in a good team will be a good asset, when he has played for us his hold up play has improved massively, he gets clattered alot this is has a big impa0ct on his injuries, if we can get him playing between now and the end of the season then great and if Arsenal want him then they will have to pay, we then need to go and get that kid from Coventry

Don’t need anyone got Tom Cannon and Simms Who have both proved themselves in the championship

Heard he's holding out for Paris or Milan. Jokes aside, he'll be getting no move any time soon. He'll need to prove himself over a long period of time before any club is willing to lay down a lengthy contract for him.

I think its a very peculiar link.

Its all very strange though.

Perhaps Arsenal may see it as a cheap gamble. Theyve been linked to him for ages and a £10-15mil fee to them is nothing.

I think it's the same as Richarlison was a couple of years ago - needed 1-2 consistent seasons to get a bigger move. Richarlison would have got one of the really big teams coming for him (not Spurs) if he'd scored 15-20 for 2 seasons in a row or had 15 G / 10 A and that's why I think he "only" got Spurs and we "only" got 5-10m more than we paid.

Really hope he does well.
It would be amazing if we stop blaming him for his injury.
