It’s a tricky one. I know Dyche and the club have a responsibility to just get points and not to placate the fans, and also handling Dom may require a different approach for many reasons, but I think the fans are always left in the dark to speculate and panic with injuries this season. I for one would prefer a “We are going to take no chances with Dom, so we are targeting the last game”, than a garbled sidestep that sounds more negative than positive, but still leaves hope, which will evaporate an hour before kick off.TBH that's probably as far as he was ever going to go.
