Would do exactly that in fact he shouldn’t be in any plans the manager has

He should have been transfer listed the day after the season ended.

If we're still looking to him for any input this feller will eventually relegate us. Probably next season.

Honestly the scapegoating of the lad is disgusting
...because we'd have a foreward in the treatment foom for 2/3rds of the season.

That's how it's worked out last two relegation threatened seasons.
 
Nah, no point at the moment. You need a buyer and any buyer would pay buttons given his fitness.

Just sign two strikers and have no reliance whatsoever on him. Not being relied on/having that pressure on his fitness could surprise us all.

I think there's little chance of us getting two new forwards in while the idea at the club is still that he's going to shake off injuries...despite two whole seasons of evidence to the contrary.

The only real solution for us would be to put him on the transfer list and hope a club took a chance, or to simply come to an agreement with the player and buy out the rest of the contract he has and cut our losses.
