2022/23 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I've got a few PNE fans weirdly enough and they thought Cannon was one of the better players they've seen for a while. They're desperate for him back next season

The thing that impressed them most - other than the goals obviously - was his work rate and attitude. Never stops pressing and harrying defenders. Sounds very much a Dyche type.

They also thought Gordon was complete dog when he was there a couple of years back by the way. Full of pace and skill but no end product and his attitude completely stunk
They must be mistaken that doesn’t sound like AG10 Starboy to me.

Because it's exactly that, history.

His last massive injury was 5 years ago for Liverpool. Since then he's missed 23 games in small bursts. Dom has missed the bulk of 2 whole years now (more than Ings in 5) with nothing before that. How's it the same thing?

Ings - played 37 games out of the last 76 PL games
DCL - played 30 out of the last 76 PL games

West Ham never blinked an eye at spending £15M on Ings but you dont think that a superior forward like DCL who's played 15 games in each of the last two seasons would fetch a buyer from a top half of the table club?

You're out of your depth here.

So me saving time by not typing out "Dominic Calvert-Lewin" every time I wanted to refer to him caused his hamstrings to explode?

Seen some mad takes in my time but linking an acronym to a players fitness is right up there.

He's absolutely bang on though.

I spotted him eating a bag of Skips once and he got one of those nasty hard ones but powered through anyway and swallowed it, so grim.

I'm pretty sure that was a major contributing factor too but I can't prove anything

Are you off your head mate?

But we would want more than 15m for him.

37 starts. That's what we were talking about, not coming on for a few minutes.

But whether he starts or comes on as a sub is a squad/manager decision. Bottom line he was fit and available for 65 out of 76 games with 6 more not coming off the bench. So he missed 5 out of 76 games in the past two seasons.

DCL has been fit and available for 37 out of 76 (3 of those not coming off the bench).

Not even comparable.

Dom's gonna stay fit for the whole season. He'll be chasing Dixie's scoring record and we'll be saying Haaland who?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm just getting ready to take Scarlett Johansson & Jessica Alba out for a nice meal.
