So he shouldn’t have signed as a kid?He, like yourself , should have left us 7 ears ago.

The very notion of loaning out DCL is so absurd. He's the only person who can knock the ball in the net.
Holding the ball up is good. But we need some guy to stick it in the net.100%.
His greatest asset is the way he allows us to play. He’s a sticky target man who can stretch defences, hold the ball up and allow us to transition from defence to attack.
It’s not about his goals.
He’s been back with the club since before we went away?
Oh right. What's he up to then?
Don't get me wrong I like the lad.
But all the conversations are about how he benefits us when playing, how he stretches defences and how we look a completely different team when he plays ( Which I totally Agree with )
But I think a lot of us are stuck in the same position, as we slate our Owners and DOF for. Blind faith!!
As much as he benefits us when he plays 'HE DOESN'T BLOODY PLAY' unless something changes with him soon and he's back/fit as our no1 striker
then he doesn't really benefit us at all..
And I hate saying that, but it's true...
We need a striker we can rely on. Not a striker we like.

I don’t know of anyone who thinks it’s okay to rely on DCL.Don't get me wrong I like the lad.

What part of the cycle are we on with this guy then , is it still " looking better in training " or are we on " in contention for fulham"
Are we saying one, as in we only have Maupay fit, or are you not counting Maupay as a striker?Like him or loathe him it an absolute disgrace that a team in the premier league has only ONE striker, ONE bl%%#y striker.
Thanks Bill
Premier League, I thought we were in the Championship?Like him or loathe him it an absolute disgrace that a team in the premier league has only ONE striker, ONE bl%%#y striker.

nope u wouldnt go to war without a working gun or ammo. and if u sane and dun have a death wish u ensure theres backup ammo and gunsI don’t know of anyone who thinks it’s okay to rely on DCL.
When there was no other option, when the season was in play and the window closed there was a lot of blind faith. But that’s understandable as a coping mechanism - we had no other choice at the time but to hope he came good.
Right now, in a transfer window with the opportunity to change the squad, you won’t find any Evertonian cool with the idea of DCL being our main and only striker this coming campaign.
The cold, hard reality of the last few seasons has proven beyond any remote semblance of doubt that as effective as he can be when fit, he’s not fit often enough to rely on.
Even his biggest admirers would admit that.
