It's annoying as if he keeps scoring I would be surprised if Southgate doesn't take him but I really hope he stays at home. As many of us thought, his fitness is crucial between a comfortable mid-table season or not.

Can we keep him fit? I really hope Southgate leaves him out because as much as going to the World Cup would boost him - and his transfer value - I don't think Everton will benefit much from that in the short term. Lampard needs to have a proper contingency now. He needs a viable plan B.

so you are saying he is younger than the prime anatomical age for a professional athlete then at 25, and has a 3 year range at that level, but he's not young. OK.
No, I'm saying he is coming into his prime/peak years soon, these are the years you would hope to get the best out of him. Young in a football sense is 16/17 not 25 mate. It's a short career at the end of the day.

We look much better with a focal point. DCL does make a huge difference to us when he’s fit and on the pitch
Problem with us is that other parts of the pitch have improved massively but having a forward line takes you forward massively.
We haven’t had a forward line with fit players for about 18 months or so. So hope he stays fit
