2022/23 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

His current Everton career, to date = 1 Premier League goal every 238 minutes.

Slotter.

When he first hit the scene his work rate was that of an Andy Johnson, when he was with us, he was everywhere but the box. There was a real team ethic about his play, as the above post says, Ancelotti came in and told him to stay centrally and get in the box. Since then, yes, we can say he is definitely a 'slotter'.

A one in 2 striker, if given the service.

He hasn't always been played as striker to be fair. Koeman was playing him at wing back for a while. Since Ancelotti took over he is on around 1 in every 180 mins.

Correct. The numbers also don't reflect the transition from gangly youngster to seasoned pro. Either way though, a player who gets a Premier League goal every 238 minutes, over a prolonged period. at any stage of their career, is a SLOTTER.

Fulham have conceded 22. Twice as many as us. They also scored a few more but if we keep it tight we can go there and win again.

Dom with a brace would be lovely??

COYB ??
Sounds like a silva team to be fair. I’ve watched them a few times and I believe they will tougher test than palace. Mitrovic has improved and looks a massive threat.

"After an unprecedented injury crisis, England's hopes rest on the only 2 fit strikers Southgate can call upon. Step-up Calvert-Lewin & Bamford."
Fever dream I had last night...

We should of secured a proper back up who has a similar playing profile as I actually like maupay but he isn't able to create the shape and cohesiveness of a fully fit dom. People get myopic and only focus on his goals but his hold up play is exceptional and if can retain his fitness I think he bolster the forward line enough for us to get to the January window and secure a richie replacement without significantly being hindered in our ability to win games.

Didn't look right to me that so I had a look that's not true.

Pl minutes 10974 ( 182.9hrs ) and 46 goals, so that's a goal every 3.976 games, so basically 1 in 4

Over a 38 game season that's 9.5 goals, wouldn't say slotter based on that.

He was young and sometimes played out of position tbf so not really a fair comparison.

We are deffo a better team with him in fully fit though
