He has to be commended on how much he has improved his coordination and balance. That stuff doesn’t happen over night. Even under Carlo he was a tad clumsy but he looks a different player on the ball nowadays. Obviously didn’t sit on his arse while he was injured. Good on him

The meg on the defender for the goal, the move to get that left-footed shot off (that could have gone in on another night), the dummy turns he has skinned defenders with on several occasions last season, he has definitely put in the work and as you put matured

Two goals in a week almost matches his tally for the last two years.

Until he's back doing it on the regular which he hasn't in years, I'll stick to my opinion he can't be relied upon

Christ i can remember being on the Gwladys St and hearing shouts at Gary lineker being a waste of money.

….surely nobody has any doubt he’s comfortably our best central striker. I don’t think he even has any competition as Beto is way behind him.
