They usually play them around lunchtime I think, 1-2pm, but then obviously I don't actually know.. lol

Reminds me of Milan waiting and waiting on van Basten to come back. . .

. . .except in this case, van Basten has a slightly worse strike rate than Dean Holdsworth.

When he comes back everyone will be saying he needs 8 games to get up to match fitness. Mitrovic came on as a sub at the weekend after eating hamburgers all summer and playing no football and everyone was soiling their pants.

He's done. He can't ever be counted on as anything more then a decent optional extra every once in a while. He's not even as good as his fanboys liked to claim at his peak anyway. We've made some horrendous decisions as a club in recent years but not taking 40mil from arsenal when they offered it for DCL is among the worst of them.

Even If they offered us half of that then it was still a bad mistake to not take it.

But yet again, its NOT his fault we havent replaced him after 3 calendar years, so I really dont understand the hate he gets.

Im a firm believer in fate and what if.

If DCL did move to another club, there is nothing to suggest he would have suffered the same injuries and every chance he moved to City for 240m THIS Summer from his buying club.

Agreed. I don't hate the lad. I just think that he was well overrated even at his peak and is made of paper.

At his peak he scored goals, bullied defenders and led the line superbly, he was never a World Class Striker, but he was a very good Striker for us and we miss him in the side weekly.

The only people that ever thought he was worth more then that is us, because we as a fanbase massively overrate anyone that has a handful of halfway decent showing for us.

For a period, he was one of the most promising young strikers in the league - and Kane's deputy for England.

It's got to be so hard on the lad to have seen his career stall so badly over the past few seasons.
