In my opinion, Dominic Calvert-Lewin had too much time to think about that one-on-one yesterday. Probably should have tried to play Doucoure in, he has the confidence at the moment to bury his chances.

Dobbin would have buried that chance, give him more minutes.

The goal v Villa in the carabao was almost an exact replica of this chance. Good keeping imo but also a forward not in a period of confidence.

To be clear, I've NEVER turned on a player at the game and I've missed 3 home games in about 35 years. Stupid comment when you really don't know the real situation. I pass opinion on here as I restrain from doing so at the match. Hope that passes your fair and reasonable criteria for my comments.

Spot on. I said in the match thread that their keeper did well against DCL and Garner. Also, what a through ball that was for DCL from Danjuma.

Dom literally hits it right down the centre of the goal. It’s going absolutely nowhere near the corner.
I’d be mortified with our keeper if he let in Garners pea roller as well tbh.

So even though his red card was rescinded it still stays on record, meaning if Dominic Calvert-Lewin gets another red he'll receive an extra one-match ban. That makes no sense at all.
