The value of DCL will depend on how many clubs want to sign him and how wealthy they are.

DCL has been linked with Chelsea, Newcastle and AC Milan as far as I have see.
He would be a boost to all three, coming to the end of his contract is the only reason his fee will be somewhat reduced , but in many ways if you really want a good player how long he has left on the remainder of his current contract is not going to impact on how he plays for you if he signs.

DCL is an excellent centre forward and was vital to us last season, he also stayed fit for most of the season so I think his injury record may not be as big an issue as some say.
I would love it if he stays but accept that is unlikely.

who else will want him you think?

“i called it he wouldn’t be sold”

jut saying

The 20% sell on clause is sensible. We bought him for £1.5m from Sheff Utd, so similar to the JB deal. Money needs to flow down the pyramid and sell on clauses help that.

There is an argument that if we are good with sell on clauses the price is low and that suits us. Also might make us an attractive buyer for English clubs with young talent

we’re now keeping him and he will bag us 25

DCL won't sign a new deal, he wants to leave and will sign for someone in January if we don't sell him now. I bet he fuming with everton wanting £40m for him

He hasn't got a song, that's why he's going.
If this was the RS, someone would already be in the studio, knocking together a song or two.
To the tune of D.I.S.C.O.
DCL lets go, DCL let's go........repeat for 5 mins.
I'll get me coat.
