Unless you've sat in the contract negotiations, nobody has any idea what the demands are.

And look nobody is forcing Everton to pay anything. It he's as bad as people say, we will all be delighted that he doesn't sign and leaves next season.

But people want him gone and think he's awful and not worth 100k per week or whatever, but also think someone is going to spend some money on him. There's a contradiction there.

Maybe nobody wants him? Newcastle pulled out of the deal. I'm struggling to see where he would go.
