2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Of course, being on a forum means you give an opinion, unfortunately it's incorrect and seems hypocritical when applied to other situations of people taking money from the club. Dom has done nothing wrong here at all. If there's an issue with the interview, the club perhaps shouldn't have done one.
The club would have pretty much dictated what they wanted him to say. It’s all just a weird PR exercise.

As far as I’m aware, he didn’t take a salary while owner and chair, he did laterally when Moshiri took over as chair. Are you talking about the rumours of the gambling debts? It’s all in a bit of poor taste, given he’s dead really. But objectively if money was taken out of the club by nefarious means and I believed it, then I’d be critical, for sure.

I don’t see how the two things correlate, Bill never had a contract, nor did we ever have the opportunity stealthily wind it down, to the determined of the club making 10s of million of him as an asset.

It’s a stupid article - I said neither he or the club should have done it.

He borrowed money to buy the club and then sold for a healthy profit without investing an actual penny of his own money, without going into the gambling debts. A "lifelong Evertonian" using us as an investment and a stage for publicity to help him in the theatre business. They correlate because DCL hasn't done anything detrimental to this club other than play football to the best (or worst in 1v1 situations) of his ability as part of the contract he signed. It's tiring explaining how it's hypocritical to lose your head over this.

Would have had us playing in the 1st division in a Tesco stadium in Kirby if he’d had his way. The worst thing to happen to this club in 40 years.

We also invested in him mate, developed him, put trust in him, gave him a platform, a stage to gain England recognition, stuck by him through injury
and trusted and continue to trust his body enough to make him the equal highest earner at the club.

By that premise, should we not want a return if we sell Branthwaite, because he cost about 1 mill and done well for us.
We do that with all the players even the total duds - DCL scored 3 vital goals to save us from relegation no moanining when his header last season sealed the reds fate of winning the Premiership & keeping us totally safe- short memories not just by you & his critics atm- look he had a great game on Saturday- but I agree he has to score his chances his none on one's he needs to improve, because atm we have no one better!

Did he pay the money back? Not being funny, but if you have a choice of spending someone else’s money or your own in investing, you spend someone else’s - our new owners will be partly be doing just that. If you make a profit, all the better. Thats the game. Absolutkey loved the line light and over dud it, there were times though you know what, he got it right the Hillsborough memorial both here and over the road, other times it was cringey.

It’s tiring because your not posting any meaningful point, your not really being intelligible here. No body head is exploding bar you going off on Bill rant, self disclosing multiple accounts - for some weird reason known to yourself, then trying to link a player running down a contract with shareholding arrangement - incoherently I might add.

Im pleased Dom is moving on, the club won’t progress with him, his finishing with the introduction of ball playing forwards in the last 8 weeks is evident of that, I’m annoyed at the clubs managing of it, it’s given him leverage and he will pocket and the detriment if the club, he’s in his rights to do that - but I don’t think we should be particularly happy about it, nor clap him for the powder puff, love in article posted earlier.

Always going for the personal attacks when you're wrong, and that's fine, it's a good laugh. Your head went over this interview based off the last 10 hours or so in here, Everton FC got what they wanted out of it of that I am sure.

We are where we are with him, I’m critical of the club that they have allowed this, he can keep his head down, play for a move and get on his bike and we move on and progress.

But if he’s posting BS powder puff articles at the same time as he’s strategising a move away to the club - then I’m calling him out and the club out in the faux BS.

But he isn't posting the article is he Neiler? Man alive...

I wouldn’t know which one of your accounts to personally attack mate. It’s a bit hypocritical playing a bunny victim on a new account, then calling out real authentic posters that don’t have to hide - for posts “decades ago”. For all anyone knows you could be Bills biggest supporter, deleted and rebooted.

Not being funny, but your hardly the most composed poster as the above illustrates and maybe why you have a new account - who knows, you’ll forgive me if I take your psychological assessment as seriously as I do your above posts.;)

I'm gonna ignore the absolute garbage you've just posted and refer you back to the thread topic. You don't think your head's gone after posting this:
Get lost Dom, go if your going, but don’t try and make idiots out of us.

Stupid article by him and the club.
You're entitled to be upset about him, no dramas Neiler, you've just fallen into the trap that Everton FC set by releasing that interview.

You cannot belive what you read anywhere- his attitude must be correct to get selected as we have no one atm - he needs to score more goals I admit that - I emphasise we atm have no replacement in our style of play - he may move on - but we need a great replacement DCLs all round game as a lone striker is very hard to replace - good luck to him if he moves on just compare our last two major no 9 signing Tosun & Beto they were & are useless in the Prem in our team set up !

Don’t ignore it - why would you.

Not in the least - I mean what I said - he can get lost once his contract up, it’s business, but I’m not interested in his personal growth and how he’s grew into being Everton’s no 9, when he’s negotiating with other clubs, it’s total BS. As I said earlier my loyalty is to the clubs wellbeing not the cult of the player.

This seems important to you, triggering somehow.
