Well, Haaland is proven at the highest level, Gyökeres has played for Brighton, Coventry and is currently playing in a Portuguese league.

I would suggest it's not a like for like comparison.

Yeah he'd defo bin scoring a goal a game in Portugal and winning the league to come back to England for a struggling team, on loan, for 6 months.

Forest play to Wood's strengths, he's scored some very good goals and a lot are balls in from byline crosses. If we did that for Dom, he'd have more goals.

We seem to only provide Dom through balls where he falls apart in indecision.

Whilst you've made a good point, I can't help but think this is also an utterly ridiculous thing to say about a Premier League striker. How dare our players only provide him with golden opportunities that are on the floor?!

Well they've been compared a lot over the last two seasons with a lot of people praising Dom and slating Wood or vice versa, probably people just updating the discussion.

I see you were saying Mbuemo is obviously better than him so what other striker would you offer up as a good comparison to Dom in this league? In terms of play style and squad quality around them it's about as close as you're going to get right now.

But I don't compare him to other strikers, since it's completely irrelevant to our club and current situation. Dom is our striker and that's that.

I pointed out what was weird (hint: it is weird) that's all.
