Forest play to Wood's strengths, he's scored some very good goals and a lot are balls in from byline crosses. If we did that for Dom, he'd have more goals.
We seem to only provide Dom through balls where he falls apart in indecision.
"The Chris Wood stuff is very weird" is very much a point.
We can't keep repeating this nonsense.
He consistently fluffs his chances. We all see it.
Last season he underscored against his Xg by 8 or so goals. He gets chances, he just couldn't finish his dinner.
We've crossed the ball plenty and he hasn't gotten on any of them or when he has they've been headed over or at the keeper.
At some point you have to be honest and say that while he is our best striker currently, he isn't actually that good at scoring goals.

I don't know how much of a point you've made given Chris Wood is a better striker than Dom playing for teams at a similar level and doing a better job.
The facts speak for themselves here.
I'm talking about how when Chris Wood scores, even if they play on a completely different day to Everton, people immediately come into this thread and post that Chris Wood has scored.

No he's not, well he's scored some brilliant goals with his head, but he lacks technically with his feet.
It's not really nonsense though, I still don't think we play to his strengths, we don't have the players to do that. If we did he would have some more.
With a side that played to his strengths he scored a good amount, last season he should have had more and missed good chances and that could be due to numerous reasons.

Well they've been compared a lot over the last two seasons with a lot of people praising Dom and slating Wood or vice versa, probably people just updating the discussion.
I see you were saying Mbuemo is obviously better than him so what other striker would you offer up as a good comparison to Dom in this league? In terms of play style and squad quality around them it's about as close as you're going to get right now.
