Till it’s signed (which it wont be) everything stays an option I reckon.
The interview I posted with Moyes in another thread the other day, he’s said he was offered a contract at WH but it was withdrawn before the end of the season after a few bad results. Goes on to say he wasn’t happy about its value anyway, but it will have been for more than he’s getting atm.

Earliest DCL can contractually secure anything will be the next window and then only with a foreign team iirc.
 
I’ve been one of his biggest supporters but now I’m losing my faith in him. He’s playing like he’s already left in his head. Time to play Beto, Chemiti and Broja. Unfortunately Dom, you may feel you hold the cards but if I was the boss you would now be told you’re not going to play again or be involved unless you sign a new contract.

Only Beto can play other two long term injuries - Dom I feel will leave in January ....

I`d go a bit further and let him know he won`t be getting a new contract. We need players fully committed to the club and he has showed he is happy to look else where.

The fact people are saying Beto should start shows the mess we are in .. DCL has no interest and wants out .. clear as day .. Add to that he misses most of the chances he gets .. Still better than Beto though ! We need Broja and Chermiti back and both to hit the ground running ..Them we need another striker signing as soon as window opens and be ready to sell DCL .. We have got to start scoring more goals and quickly !

From 247 minutes we`ve got 2 goals from Beto this season compared to DCL`s 2 goals from 904 minutes. DCL gets the time on the pitch to show how poor he is in front of goal, while Beto seems that he might have a bit more about him in terms of hitting the net. We won`t know for sure unless Beto gets a run of games to settle into the team, instead of coming on late in games and having to try to make an impact in the final 5 or 10 minutes.
As for being ready to sell DCL when the window opens, we`d have to find a seriously stupid club that would give us money for a striker that does n`t score, and can take a punt on him in June for free.
