Ball fell to him a few times edge of the box yesterday and you instantly knew absolutely nothing was coming from it. He will never score a goal from outside the box, any kind of curler, volley or thunderbolt - not a chance. Good athlete, thoroughly nice chap, but he's been here too long now for both him and us and both parties are suffering for it.
….players running down their contracts play for their own interest and lose their edge when the a game really matters. I wouldn’t be surprised if he knows exactly where he’s going next summer. He’s not the only one in contract limbo (players, manager, DoF).
Problem is we have no real alternatives. Hopefully Broja can fill the void, I know there are plenty who think Chermiti will be the real deal even though he’s shown nothing in his cameo’s so far. We really need one of those two to make a real impact.

We send good youth players out on loan or sell them the USA left back now at Fulham typical of our youth development add to that Lookman a winger which we now miss....Carlos fetched Branthwaite to our club not Dyche ....it took him an age to introduce him ......favouring Keane ....….Dyche has given debuts to Armstrong and Dixon this season and given Iroegbunam his longest run of top flight first team games. Branthwaite has become a regular under Dyche and speaks positively about how he’s been managed.
Doucoure & Gueye both over 30 and arguably our best pairing reflects what Dyche has available to him. What youngsters do you want to see play ahead of them?
When Dyche says he hasn’t got the personnel to play 2 up front, I expect he’s referring to Beto. Beto has no idea what he’s doing so imagine trying to play alongside him, you’d be waiting a long time for the return if you try and play a one-two with him. I don’t recall DCL getting a touch after Beto was introduced so which youngster do you want to see paired with Beto?
