2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

There’s no doubt that if you compare the teammates Dom had when he first joined the club to those he has now, the difference is stark.

You could also argue that the chaos of the past few years, with the revolving door of managers and the sale of our best players, has likely made him feel like he’s surrounded by mediocrity.

Add to that the animosity from fans and a manager who doesn't focus on attacking, and it’s understandable why the goals are drying up.

I do believe we’ve now reached a point where Dom's time at the club has come to an end. It would probably be best for both parties if he moves on. We should aim to get whatever we can for him in the summer and focus on rebuilding.

Not to mention his huge injury problems. I genuinely feel he's never been anywhere near the player he was prior to those.

It’ll have to be this month before his contracts up.

What have we become accustomed to. He's 95% shitzer with a 3% good work rate performance and 2% critical goal. Back in the day he would be playing in the reserves until he started netting. Cant believe anyone will be giving him more than we offered even with a free.
Back in the day he was playing for the reserves when Arouna Kone was stinking the joint as Rom’s back up

He hasn’t been the same since returning last season. I thought he was regaining his form toward the end of the previous season, but he hasn’t gotten going at all this season.

I think it’s part physical and part mental, due to the club's environment. Seeing former players thrive elsewhere, while Maupay mocks us, doesn't help either.

True. We shouldn't sell him now, but can't him scoring many for us if he stays. We can't even turf him off to Saudi for £15 mil, so can't see any options he can go in Jan.
