That's rumoured to be the fee were after. We wanted 30 off Newcastle to go for the Minteh deal. By all reports the only stumbling block was on Doms side.
Now that's obviously off the table I imagine we will hold out for a 30-30 swap with Nketiah or Broja types or 15-20 off absolutely anyone else.
Given United wanted Zirkzee as their number one target and lowballed us on Branthwaite, I doubt they bid even 10 if at all

I've never rated him, but watching him half arse it whenever he's played over the last few years ( bar the odd game ) has turned not rating him until just disliking him.
He's given us some good moments ( palace I'll probably never forget) but best all round he goes now.

It has been stated many times that the stumbling block was the fee Everton wanted NOT what Dom wanted.

Really struggling to see where he could go at the moment. Doesn’t seem a Brentford-type signing to me. Probably burnt his bridges with Newcastle after earlier negotiations. Fulham have 3 strikers. There’s only a handful of European teams who spend £20-25m on a player and they wouldn’t look twice at him.
