He went 6 months without scoring last season. Nobody boo'd him.
I think Everton fans are patient with him tbh. Many a club fanbase wouldnt tolerate a striker going 6 months not finding the net

He brings up getting booed by the fans in an interview, can't remember when it was but it was a while after so it definitely stuck with him

What does that matter? We got DCL for £1.5m but I’ve been told that doesn’t matter now. Tarks has been here 3 years now so it’s irrelevant.

Also, Pickford got relegated with Sunderland and is still Englands number 1. Gueye got relegated with Villa, came to us before going to PSG.

Tarks got relegated with Dyche, there is a common denominator.

Well it matters because my expectations for Tarkowski have been for him to be a CB that looks like he belongs in a relegation team.

So when he plays like he belongs in a relegation team there are no surprises.

Levels based off what though? So you have low expectations for Tarkowski because he was signed for free, but Lukaku level expectations for someone signed for £1.5m? Tarkowski once qualified for Europe in that Burnley team, so why is that not his expectations? As he has done it once, like you point out DCL has scored 21 once.

And you point out that he managed that under one of the best managers of all time, rather than the 3 frauds we have had in charge since.

DCL has shown us he is capable of much, much, better than what he's shown us over the past FOUR years.

There just isn't any defending 2 goals scored from your main striker at this point of the year. He is a crap striker. Accept it.

We are a relegation battling squad. By your own reasoning, he is therefore a relegation striker.

Tarkowski was European in one season and mid table a few others so has shown he can be in a non relegation team.

It’s not all on individual players. Like I say, fraud managers with crap tactics and no striker coaches is going to lead to strikers being crap.
