DCL is underrated by many.
In a couple of seasons I reckon he'll be an integral, and important part of the team. Koeman can plainly see this, as can I, but it's no surprise to me that you can't see it.

Thought DCL looked sharp, especially in the first half. He tried to be a bit too fancy at times, but when it worked it looked nice at least. Think he'll end up being a good little player for us this season.

Yep and it's one area where we seem to have plenty, Lookman Mirallas and Sandro would all be ahead of him in wide areas. Not mentioning Bolasie and Sigurdsson whenever he joins.

I questioned why he was starting and didn't watch the match just some highlights. Koeman's giving him match time because he obviously sees something in the lad. He's not a winger, he's never going to be a winger but Koeman wants to blood him in. It'll drive people nuts watching him be played out of position but I can't blame him for that. He's got to play where the manager puts him. I just wonder when he's going to give him the opportunity to go up front on his own where he so very clearly belongs with his style of play and ability.
