Seriously now, how CAN you miss this?

But he cant, as @Zatara says he has a good scoring record, just without the goals. Must be some illusion like his last 10 bad misses.

He seriously needs to just spend a year and a half working on finishing, finishing, finishing and then some finishing, and nothing else.

He may become good enough but nobody could say that in his present stage of development he should be anywhere near the first team. Forget England under whatever age they are, the PL is a hard league and he is found wanting. His failure even to find the goal frame was awful. What is he anyway? A goalscorer? What a laugh.

I actually said if he had 2 more goals in the league he would have practically 1 in 3.

You want to punt him and Davies...2 England u21 internationals who are highly rated by every manager they could have ever played for...

Interesting...

To clarify, I don't think he'd warrant a full call up either :)

Just to have in the squad for experience like Solanke and Abraham have got (who have been far worse than DCL)..

Agree on the rest of your post 100%
I know you didn't mate. I realise you were talking about the experience.

Neither Abraham and Solanke did either and were only there because of injuries and Southgate taking a look at them. Kane wasn't even in that squad from memory and Solanke only joined up after the first game.

Interestingly at the time, both Solanke and Abraham were probably considered ahead of DCL on the International stage, whereas given he started ahead of them in the recent qualifier against Ukraine it looks as though he's turned that on it's head. All whilst being cack for Everton.

People seem to forget this, but these young lads are incredibly lucky to play for Everton. It’s not the other way around.

They aren’t getting crucified or having pigs heads thrown at them, they are having people on an internet site say they need loaning out for a year. Some of the mollycoddling is ridiculous.

Im sorry but anyone who has a salt of knowledge about top level football knows the lad just isn't good enough for a top 7 centre forward. The likes of Rashford and Kane are absolute miles above.

If someone offered us £10-12 million for him I would snap your hands off.

Tosun, Niasse and someone cheap but proven like Charlie Austin coming in as our 3x centre forwards next season would do me.

So absolutely no one on GOT then?

Dixie was 20 at the start of the 1927/28 season.

I think DCL is a player, just doesn't have the finishing. Which sort of leaves him in no land as he doesn't have enough attributes to play anywhere elseeither imo.

This is 100% how I feel

We aren't but you are. Anyway, your post didn't read that way to me. But OK.
He never mentioned DCL stats, only Shearers and Henry's. He was making a point that neither were prolific at that age. You quoted DCL in the same sentence, hence you are drawing a direct comparison. If you hadn't quoted the DCL stats I wouldn't have said anything.

Henry was a winger wasn't he? Even in his early days at arsenal ...

Not exactly revolutionary thoughts here. Has anyone in the world said he's close to as good as Kane or Rashford? DCL needs a loan.
