Amazing isn't it,but politicians always seem to fall into this trap...see also Cameron and his ukip are a 'bunch of fruitcakes and racists' comment, obvs they are...but be a bit more savvy

Yup. All she's done is make up the minds of undecided voters leaning, but not committed towards Trump.

Hence, that 45% will vote Trump anyway. No downside there, but no votes won either.

The 55% that do understand the word would seem to be the problem, you see - not to speak of the undecided, such as those saying that they're for Johnson/Stein/SMOD, like me.

It won't be close where you are. It will be close here. Very close.

I'm working through the logic. It's not good for Hillary when I do. You don't have to be able to parse the various definitions of deplorable to understand what contempt is. Some of Romney's 47% are up for grabs this time around. Romney's remarks were contemptuous to that 47%, and this will strike many of the same people exactly the same way. People in this elections are not voting for people they like as much as they are voting to stop somebody they loathe.

There's absolutely no chance in hell of this ever happening! Seriously no chance at all. He doesn't have enough support from the backbenchers, Conservative voters or the wider electorate. He pulled out of the leadership race because he knows this.

You still think Boris could one day be PM? I think that ship has sailed. He played the game and lost. May has given him his current position knowing he will make a buffoon of himself and destroy any chance of a comeback.
 
Clinton was right though wasn't she? The stats back it up.

Weird that the first honest thing she said in at least five years has caused outrage.
