Donald Trump for President Thread

TBH most of the damage was done because her campaign didn't say anything at first, then tried to pretend she was just slightly / temporarily queasy, and even now (or at least earlier this morning) they are trying to say that she made it into the van under her own steam. That video now emerges of her being Brezhnev'd into the van just makes it easy for people to suggest there is rather more to this than her campaign admits.
Absolutely. I realised it was a lot more than "being overheated" when I saw some interviews of people also at the event (regular people, not politicians or people connected to Clinton) saying it wasn't even that hot at all. Clearly something wrong with her being covered up by her team. Appears they are desperate to beat Trump at all costs, even if it means sending a sick woman out there to get the win, then have her give up the presidency when she becomes too ill and hand it over to the second in line.

I am not sure that it is evidence that there is "clearly something wrong with her"; its more likely that it is evidence her campaign remains as useless as it has been this cycle, which is of course a continuation of its uselessness in 2008 and its general uselessness when she was Secretary of State.

In fact, my biggest criticism of her is that she manifestly cannot pick a team around her that is in any way competent. She really could just have been slightly ill and tripped over a kerb - and yet this lot make it look like she is el Cid, tied to his horse.

you can almost imagine a news review in 100 years time 'all was going ok for clinton until her illness was revealed, allowing trump to narrowly become president and destroy the world..and thats how we ended up living on the moon'

Trump wins and there might be 50 odd independent states unwilling to play to his tune.

Trump wins and he will find very quickly he has no support in either the House or the Senate, or in the states, and none in the media. He would be the least powerful President in US history; if he isn't bumped off it might well lead to constitutional change as the legislature gains power that it would be reluctant to give up in five years time.

gives him an easy out when he doesnt enforce any of his 'policies'

Trump would be a lot better than people give him credit for. It baffles me to read, time after time, how at least half of America is clueless and are being conned by him. Same with Brexit, the majority are apparently dumb as because they voted out, the exchange rate soon rose after an initial drop and I am sure things won't change too much. NEA.

So 70 . 5 million Uk citizens are dumb?
Outrageous assumptions typical of a sore loser - if Trump wins , and I hope he does not- I will accept the USA voters wish!

.....Clinton is 68 and Trump is 70. Neither are Spring chickens, both left school a long time ago and the US election campaign is particularly lengthy and gruelling. It's hardly a surprise if one of them is suffering. The role of president itself is also physically and mentally challenging but there is room for respite.

without going off topic it must be pointed out that this is quite false
